Sean and Stacey are enjoying the record snow this winter in Rexburg. I keep hearing about all the snow. How about a picture? Well at least they have each other to stay cozy and warm. Before you know it the sun will be beating down and melting all that white junk and wind will be gone, the freezing temperatures will be gone and you may actually leave your coat at home. Until then keep snuggling and hang in there.

10 Minutes of Sun

Yesterday was a stormy, rainy, cold Sunday. While cooking dinner I looked out and noticed that the sun had peeked out for a moment. I also noticed that my Geraniums which usually look fairly ragged and sad looked quite happy with all the rain and were blooming like crazy. I got a quick shot of them smiling and then just like that-- the sun was gone. The brightest 10 minutes of the day.

Love is Sweet

I wanted to post a few pictures of the decorations at Sean and Stacey's Open House. We used lots of snowflakes, crystals, icicles, and red flowers. The Tables were covered with black linens and black and white table runners. The theme of the evening was "Love is Sweet". Thanks to my dear friend Lori L. and to Katey K. for the pictures. The decorating was a lot of work. We couldn't have done it without the help of many wonderful friends and family. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The sign in table:

Hot Chocolate bar:

All the sweets at the serving table. Sean and Stacy are big fans of donuts.

This is the Snow Tree that was in the center of the serving table.

Not the greatest pic but this was really very pretty.

The centerpieces:

Of course taking everything down was a lot faster than putting it up.
