Sunrise

"With each sunrise, we start anew."

This is a series of photos that I took while in Canyonlands National Park in April. Troy and I arrived before sunset. It was cold, and dark and then it was beautiful and amazing. As the sun rises the underside of the arch begins to glow. It almost looks like hot embers on a burning log. Enjoy.

What a great idea! I'll have to think of that next time in a situation like that. There's actually a device you can get for your camera that can be set to take a photo every few seconds to do time lapse. I've seen the results and they're really cool. Downside, it the trigger costs a couple hundred bucks. Anyway, good job, it really reminds what a spectacular sight that was.
