On Friday it will have been one year since Natalie went on her mission. I'll never forget that day. She was so nervous and very emotional. We both had tears all morning. We both hate good-byes. She was definitely ready for her new adventure. Sometimes it seams like she has been gone forever. When I think about her being home in six months it feels like that is so soon.
One thing is for sure. She is loving her mission. There have been difficult times but mostly great times. She seems to have fallen in love with the country, the people and the language.
I can't wait until March when I can get my arms around this girl and give her a big hug and talk to her and laugh with her.

WOW time is flyin! I miss Nat too. I am so proud of her and I know she is such a great missionary. I really want to make a trip down to California maybe we can around that time. love ya nat!
time is NOT flying...not at all. it's felt like the longest 12 months of my life. i will have to wait another six months but i seriously don't want to. i am so proud of Natalie and of the sacrifice she's making but i miss her terribly. six months left...whew that sounds so long. i can do it...i can.
dad
whats up with her companions foot?
I think she has a boo boo. Besides in every single picture they are all dirty and dusty from the knees down. I don't think they have any grass or cement in that place.
I can't believe she's been gone a year. That's 12 times we've missed her at family dinner!!
I love reading her letters, they are great!
i'm so proud of her!! i can't believe its been 12 months ... its gone by fast for me (but then again i'm busy chasing aidan around ... he's a BUSY boy!!) i'm sure it's not going fast enough for you.
I also admire her for her sacrifice and willingness to go on a mission. By the looks of her pictures and her letters she is putting her whole self into it too. She is a wonderful example to us all. Proud to be her auntie, that goes for all of your kids though.
