Let Freedom Ring!

circa 1997

Happy Fourth everyone. This photo is of Danielle back in the day. She was selected by the city Preschool to be on the 4th of July parade float. She was so excited and waved her flag like a professional down Euclid Avenue. We have already had our pancake breakfast and are looking forward to sailing in Long Beach where we will watch the fireworks show in the Harbor. If you don't have a fireworks show in your plans create your own right here.

I am grateful to live right here in the good old USA. In the words of Abraham Lincoln, " I like to see a man proud of the place in which he lives. I like to see a man live so that his place will be proud of him". Let's all make America proud.

Happy Fourth of July! We were way jealous that you guys got to watch the fire works at the harbor. I'm sure that was amazing. Did it feel like you had just won the Revolutionary War? We sat out in a parking lot and watched fireworks, so i'm sure you had a better show! See you soon!

I wish that I could have been there sailing. I can't wait to go sailing again.

If you can't watch fireworks in a harbor, they are pretty good up in the mountains too... and off the subject, I noticed you read Twilight and New Moon- I think Meyer's new one The Host is better than the Twilight series (a little slow to get going but it gains momentum) Just thought I'd share...
